Advanced Puppy

Advanced Puppy is available in four week blocks at Challenger Institute of Technology, Murdoch. Courses are available at regular intervals at our Wangara venue - see our Training Venues page for course commencement dates.

Advanced Puppy is the bridge between Puppy Kindy and Companion Dog Life-Skills, as we have found that young dogs, aged 4 - 8 months, struggle with the Life-Skills class due to a relatively short attention span!

We continue with off lead socialisation if appropriate, and build on basic behaviours such as:

• Sit
• Walking on a loose lead
• Come when called
• Drop

We also focus on prevention of common behaviour problems, amongst them:

• Resource guarding
• Handling difficulties
• Reactivity

This class is for pups 4 - 8 months of age who are fully vaccinated. Children and family members are encouraged to attend.

Paw Prints Pet Training are currently holding ongoing Advanced Puppy classes at Challenger Institute of Technology, Murdoch, and regularly run courses at Billy's Day-Care For Dogs, Wangara. See our Training Venues page for more details.

Due to the popularity of our classes, it is essential that an enrolment form is filled out and a trainer is contacted before showing up.

If your dog is reactive (not good with other dogs) please contact a trainer to discuss an initial private session.
