What To Bring To Class

• Your hungry dog wearing a flat collar and a 6ft webbing/nylon lead (no choke chains are permitted on training grounds)
• A large amount of soft, tasty treats for your dog (such as garlic polony) in a sealed container
• A mat or towel for you and/or your dog to sit on
• A treat pouch or bum bag or clothing with loose pockets
• Water bowl and water for your dog
• Poo bags for your dog
• Your dog’s vaccination certificate (dogs or puppies may not start the course until this is sighted)
• A sense of adventure and fun!

House rules – Dogs

• Dogs are to remain on lead at all times
• Owners must be able to show proof of their dog’s vaccinations
• Please do not allow your dog to play with others while on lead
• Choke chains and chain leads are not permitted on the training grounds
• Dogs may not be left tethered or unattended at any time
• Please clean up after your dog
• Bitches in season are not permitted on the training ground
• Appropriate clothing, including closed in footwear MUST be worn at all times
• Children under 12 may not hold a dogs lead during class
• Parents to provide adequate supervision of children at all times
• Positive reinforcement training is to be used at all times. No abuse, yelling, scolding or hitting dogs will be tolerated and this will result in being escorted from the training grounds and no refund will be given
• Treat pouches should be used. Plastic bags may not be used to carry food rewards
• Please do not leave the training ground before the conclusion of the training session
• Paw Prints Pet Training will not be responsible for any off lead play before or after class

House rules – Puppies

• Puppies are to be carried into the training room
• There should be no on lead play between puppies
• Puppies must have had their first vaccination and owners should have proof of this
• Please clean up after your puppy
• Appropriate clothing must be worn, including closed in shoes, at all times
• Parents must provide adequate supervision of their children at all times
• Treat pouches/bum bags should be used. No plastic bags may be used to carry food rewards
• Please do not leave the training ground before the conclusion of the training session
