Trevor Valberg swapped a hectic career as a chef to work with animals, when he began at the Dogs’ Refuge Home, Shenton Park, in 2004.
Trevor started as a Kennel Hand and quickly rose to the position of Kennel Manager. He undertook studies and earnt his Certificate III in Companion Animal Services, and his Industry Accredited Dog Trainer qualification. Trevor worked with Georgia for several years in the Behaviour Department at the Refuge, before following in Georgia’s footsteps when he became the Head of the Behaviour Department. He is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers Australia.
In August 2010, Trevor welcomed his first child into the world, a baby boy!
