Cecile Ashen-Young

Cecile Ashen-Young has been a dog lover all her life. She moved into professional dog training after a successful career as a personal trainer. Cecile has worked with dogs in several countries including the United States, Australia, Germany and the Middle East.

Cecile has completed the Industry Accredited Dog Trainer’s qualification, and is currently working towards a Masters degree in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling. She has worked at the Dogs’ Refuge Home and the RSPCA as a trainer, is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers Australia, and has represented industry at Primary industries.

Cecile is a popular mentor for students completing their Industry Accredited Dog Trainer qualifications, and is renowned for her positivity and infectious laugh!

Cecile now spends her time lecturing at TAFE, which includes teaching the popular Murdoch Challenger K9 Puppy Kindy class, studying for her degree and consulting as well as teaching classes for Paw Prints Pet Training. She has two dogs – Boo the Boxer and Georgie the Irish Terrier mix.
